Allana Ferguson bio
Allana represented Australia in Rugby Sevens in 2013, then consecutive knee injuries forced Allana to stay off the field for many years prior to making the switch back to rugby league. Allana's first match in the rugby league for women came in 2015. She was a good player against Queensland and represented New South Wales. Allana also added radio to the game, and has regular appearances as part of 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana has a full teaching qualifications outside of sport. Allana Ferguson is the only australian to have represented Australia in the rugby sevens competition and the rugby league, and also touch. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos footballer and rugby league player for Australia's Jillaroos team, was forced to come to an early ending to her career in the sport after torn her ACL on a 4th occasion. Ferguson tore the ACL four times before, at ages 15, 17 and twenty. The fourth time she suffered the injury, her playing career was over. Ferguson, JILLAROOS playmaker and fourth year ACL injury victim, was forced to leave in the early hours. Ferguson was injured in her ACL the month of November, while training. The week before she announced the news by speaking to The Courier Mail.
